We were treated to delicious bites and an amazing lesson on craft cocktails by master mixologist- @haukcx (pro-tip - Hauk holds these classes once a month!)
Flavor is basically right around the corner.. we see you September 📅 and it was a blast getting the band back together to celebrate our favorite restaurant month of the year!
I even ventured away from my signature 🍸 and tried a Tom Collins with a twist and made my own tequila creation!

The best weekend of the year! A week late in posting and of course my intention was to go all 3 days but #momlife
This year felt so different from previous years and it made me love it even more!!
✔️ It didn’t rain! 👏 and it wasn’t blazing 🥵
✔️ The music was on point
✔️ This year felt a little smaller and more approachable

𝗠𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 💥
Do you find that when things come naturally to you that you don’t think it’s a skill? And to dig a little deeper, you don’t know that it’s a skill you can teach others about?
So I’m like part imposter syndrome and part “what like it’s hard?” when it comes to building a successful network.
When I actually sat down to put this “skill” into some actionable items - I surprised myself with how much actually goes into being a successful community builder.
Here are a few tips to get you started:
1. Always be kind. You want your name mentioned in a room because you helped someone, not because you were a jerk.
2. Do things for other people for no reason! Invite them to an event, mention their name in a room of opportunity. Don’t have your hand out. A lot of building involves giving. If you do it the right way it will come back to you!
3. FOLLOW-UP! If you meet someone, reconnect the next day. If you say you are going to do something to help a person out - DO IT!
4. Be patient! Networks aren’t built in a day. It can take years to really develop a solid foundation in your community! This is a marathon, not a sprint!

𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽! 🌷💙
We live where we used to vacation and I love giving my little some low key relaxation and local experiences during our breaks!
The highlight of his time off was attending an @intermiamicf game and the highlight of mine was watching how excited he was to be at a soccer game. ⚽️ Thanks @holly.meyer.lucas for making me Mom of the Year! 🍋
I might not always be able to give him every experience, but we make the most of the resources we have at our fingertips and work hard to make memories!
I want him to look back on his childhood remember how loved he was every single day!
One new trick we’ve added to our playbook is the 20 second hug - it’s supposed to alleviate stress and improve your mood. Hugging my cutie for 20 seconds a day is easily the best part of each day!

POV: When the universe tells you to take a pause and re-evaluate you listen. Would you?
This past week I hosted and entertained adults on Spring Break in my home, put on two semi-large successful work events, had a child home on spring break, dealt with some relatively annoying personal items I had to digest and still managed to donate some of my time to give back to our community.
And then I got tired. So tired that it took me a minute to realize that I’ve been running myself ragged and even worse - letting others run me ragged. So I pressed pause and took some time for myself:
✨I sat in bed in sweatpants
✨Read a book
✨Put on a face mask
✨Watched a movie
✨Took a walk on the beach
✨Made a list of all of the things that I’m currently doing that don’t bring me joy
✨Made a list of the things that DO bring me joy
✨Talked on the phone
✨Shopped online
✨Started to purge my closet and bathroom cabinents
✨Organized my week ahead
✨Said NO to things I didn’t want to do
I know this seems like a lot of things, but for me these are the things that I never do, so I did them and I reset and recharged and reconnected with myself.

Olympic medalist and hall of famer @shannonmiller96 was as brilliant as she was charming and it was an absolute treat getting to see her speak yesterday!
Thank you to @quantumhouse for allowing me to be a part of your crew for the morning.
This was an unforgettable opportunity that would never have happened without creating authentic connections with people who fill your cup!

Yes, this weekend was fun! Instagram allows me to show you a sliver of life - but the real work takes place behind the scenes. Remember that as you scroll today.
And always look for the silver lining in every situation. There is a reason things happen the way they do! Life is a constant learning process! Let the things that happen guide and teach you to be more prepared next time!

This is a year about being intentional
And I’m going to intentionally be making an appointment to refresh my Botox and filler 😂🤷‍♀️
But real talk… I have a job that I love and have collected new friends, relationships and partnerships this past year that continue to fill my cup and keep it over flowing.
Age is literally just a number and LIFE is what you make of it. I don’t wait for things to happen around me. I seek out experiences and knowledge and I ask for things that I want.
I set personal and professional goals and I speak them out loud so that I can’t back away from going after them.
Don’t ever hide behind things you think you can’t do. You can literally do whatever you want - you just have to go out and get after it!
Nothing I’ve accomplished has been handed to me. I worked for every.single.thing that I have - my home, my job, and my relationships.
I am empowering you to let go of whatever is holding you back from going after what you want. Life can start whenever you choose to let it!
And remember these core principles:
🌱Be Kind - no matter what
🌱Give back to your community
🌱Don’t talk poorly about others - it just makes you look bad
🌱Find people who fill your cup and fill theirs right back
🌱Have fun, life is short and you never know what’s lurking around the corner
🌱Take chances - the best rewards come from the biggest risks

My word for 2023. What is yours?
I spent the last two years reinventing myself and growing my career, business, knowledge and network.✔️🌿
I got uncomfortable and learned an entirely new industry and had to prove to myself (and others) that I actually do know what I’m doing.
My confidence came back, I realized that I’m the one making these things happen and now it’s time to be very specific with every decision.
In 2023 I’m asking these question every time:
𝙳𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚘 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚢 𝚐𝚘𝚊𝚕?
